Down to the Wire

The 2008 school year is just around the corner (beginning January 24th). We must have a place to put all these kids! Our ALPHA kids are accustomed to seeing "construction" around the campus, because we have been in constant growth since the beginning. We plan to bring this to an end, FINISHING UP this phase on our current campus.

Marswell, computer teacher, holding up one of the insulated tiles that will be used to cover the last of the construction.

The workers are giving it all they've got while there are no students on the campus. The big push is to get the Jr. High wing covered and usable by the first day of classes, January 24th. It has been incredibly exciting to see folks from 3 continents pledge support to the "roof project". Every day Ken gives the team an update on how many meters have been pledged and what is lacking to reach our goal.

Update on ROOF PROJECT
Needed: 280 square meters of insulated roof tiles.
Pledged as of March 9th, 2008: 280 meters
PROJECT COMPLETE!!!

Pictures above and below are the steel trusses (in construction) that will hold up the roof tiles.

Bosco: sanding, painting and doing heavy duty cleaning.

So exciting seeing the Lord's provision - and seeing the growth take place!! :) We can't wait to see it all for ourselves, too! :)
Missing y'all and Brasil. . .
Denielle for the 3 of us :)
