Some really awesome "feijoada"The Christ is Life Church has had a tradition of taking a trip somewhere on May 1st for quite some time. Since it is a holiday here, everyone can get away from work and stuff and just enjoy a day relaxing together as a church family.
This year we went to a beach house about an hour away. Got to swim in the rain, watch some fishermen haul their catch up on shore, and eat some really good feijoada (Brazilian black beans).
